We need help w/an autistic child who has an eating disorder and is obese. The child is female and does have language.

She is very physically delayed, very stubborn and whiney.  We are very concerned because we feel she is definitely headed for diabetes.  She is also very limited on things that she will eat.  Chicken and carbs--refuses veggies of any kind.  Her father has eating disorder also.

I am not a professional by any means, but what about trying a few of her veggies raw or cooked with something to dip them in.(BBQ sauce, ketchup, salad dressing)
