A friend of mine, yours, and our community (none other than Lin Wessels ) is headed to DC this week. She is asking that we send her the stories of our ASD children. She asks that you include a picture of your child to make a bigger impact. Your story can be about life with autism as you know it, the cost of autism to your family, what you think caused your child’s autism, what you think we need to do to start fixing the problem of autism prevalence, or whatever you want. Just please be respectful - remember, you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. All stories/pictures should be sent to Lin by Friday, June 5th: linwessels@yahoo.com
Many of us have sent our stories to Lin already; but she needs more - the more she can “thump” down on the desk, the more the impact her advocacy will have.
