Sensory Diet

This is Logan in his deep pressure vest. He likes the pressure of the pool so it was suggested that we get him a weighted vest. Well, weighted vest are really expensive so we went the frugal route.

We asked Grampa (who loves to fish) if he had an old fishing vest for Logan. Then we filled the pockets with rice, and sand. Voila! A weighted vest at no cost to us.

He's been wearing it all week in 5 minute increments. That seems to be about all he can stand right now. Of course, we don't want to overstimulate him as that presents a whole other set of challenges. So, we will use it as needed for some deep pressure. That should help alleviate his need for a hug every couple of minutes. Sorry, Nana!
