I didn't think it would taste that bad-- but after I read the ingredients, cooked it ( I cooked it in Farm LARD)- which is full of vitamins and healthy fat...it still tasted really bad- really greasy- got me thinking that this is probably what McDonald's Fries are made of. After I fried them, Hannah said " Hey' they look just like Burger King Fries"....
Why would a potato have milk in it- and wheat?
Well they probably make a soup of it- at the factory- then they bind it with wheat and milk- and then they form it (extrusion) and fry it.
I went looking for videos that were truthful in the production process that involves wheat.
I found this one here:
McDonald's Fries:
Potatoes, vegetable oil (canola oil, hydrogenated soybean oil, natural beef flavor [wheat and milk derivatives]*, citric acid [preservative]), dextrose, sodium acid pyrophosphate (maintain color), salt. Prepared in vegetable oil (Canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness). Dimethylpolysiloxane added as an antifoaming agent.
CONTAINS: WHEAT AND MILK.
*(Natural beef flavor contains hydrolyzed wheat and hydrolyzed milk as starting ingredients).

If you want really healthy potatoes, I recommend getting some lard, or coconut oil, and slicing up some organic potatoes, or potatoes from a trusted farm source that doesn't spray chemicals, and FRY them in the oil.
