Murray and Clive with more photos from World Autism Awareness Day 2012 .....

Posted Apr 03 2012 6:43pm
Murray and Clive really enjoyed themselves yesterday at Irish Autism Actions's World Autism Awareness Day celebrations in the Mansion House in Dublin.

After meeting lots of friends, celebrities and fellow assistance dogs Murray also enjoyed watching all the balloons that were released into the skies over the Mansion House.

He joined in with the countdown and then released his balloons .....
A big shout out to Assistance Dogs Gandon, Hackett, Katie, Vonda and Yani who were there with their families yesterday. It was wonderful to see so many autism assistance dogs on World Autism Day .....

Much to Murray's delight - Clive and Murray made the papers again today !  They were in the Irish Daily Star ....

and they were also in today's Metro Herald - many thanks to all our friends who texted and emailed us earlier today to let us know that Clive & Murray were on the front cover of the paper!

Murray was really thrilled to see himself and Clive in the papers again and it was very funny when we were walking around Ikea today and a lady came up to Clive recognising him from his photo in the Metro Herald.  She was delighted to meet Clive and Murray as she told us her colleagues had been talking about Clive in work this morning.  This made Murray even more excited!

Clive & Murray were also on the news last night on TV3 - if you click on the link here - you can see them 11 minutes into the programme.  We didn't think these links would be viewable outside of Ireland but we were delighted to hear from friends in the US and Canada today that they could view the clip we shared yesterday of Clive and Murray on Xposé .

Finally although we shared lots of our own photos from World Autism Day with you yesterday we were sent some more lovely photos this morning from IAA so to keep Murray happy - we promised to share them!

So that was Murray and Clive at the IAA's World Autism Awareness Day celebrations in the Mansion House in Dublin ....

We know there were lots of autism related events all around the world yesterday and we were very happy to be part of some of the celebrations in Dublin.

- Clive & Murray
