Memorial Day Thoughts and Thanks

Posted Apr 11 2009 12:58am 1 Comment

I know quite a few of my readers are spouses of those serving in the military. I just wanted you to know that The Prince, The Professor, and I are thinking of you and your families today and grateful for your sacrifices. As the proud daughter of a Marine who served with distinction in Vietnam, I feel so grateful to live "in the land of the free and the home of the brave."

To my Daddy, and miltary Daddies and Mommies everywhere, Thank You.

Memorial Day is on our way and we cannot miss commemorating our loved ones in the past. Memorial Day is a national holiday that is celebrated in many countries, to honor the fallen ones. The American Memorial Day is almost upon us. It's usually one of the first days of the season of grilling, and you can grill up some uber tasty treats without needing a faxless payday loan. The old standbys of burgers and hot dogs are there, but grilling chicken or fish is also always a hit. $5dollardinners, the website for recipes on the cheap, has a host of recipes for Memorial Day that won't send you running for debt relief – and take it easy on the beer.
