There is a compelling new Public Service Announcement from SafeMinds.org that recently caught my attention; one which I feel everyone should see. Since my son, Ethan, tests high for lead, mercury and arsenic, I am particularly interested in groups, like SafeMinds, working to educate the public about these heavy metals.
Many kids like Ethan who live with Developmental Disabilities - including Autism Spectrum Disorders - have difficulty processing toxins like these out of their systems. Ever since Ethan had a social regression following a flu shot four years ago, I began to pay very close attention to everything that goes into his body. That is how I came across SafeMinds.
