Jenny McCarthy and her organization, Generation Rescue, have toned down on the vaccine message in the past few years. Gone is the Generation Rescue “favorite” vaccine schedule (which left kids unprotected against most vaccine preventable diseases). It’s been four years since the “ Green Our Vaccines ” rally, and there isn’t even a discussion of a followup. Mostly, there hasn’t been that much vaccine talk from Ms. McCarthy in the press for the past few years. Autism Awareness month (April) was for three years running the launch date for Jenny McCarthy autism books.
From the article “” in Parade:
The biggest hurdle is the CDC not recognizing it as an epidemic. There is no such thing as a genetic epidemic. I know there is an environmental trigger that they won’t agree with right now but time will tell. I am just ready for them to call it an epidemic so people can take it seriously.
“I know there is an environmental trigger that they won’t agree with right now…” Not quite the old days with Jenny McCarthy shouting “Bullshit” at the head of the AAP on the Larry King show . Or telling a crowd at a TACA picnic where Barbara Walters (hint, it wasn’t a polite suggestion). It’s more of a “wink and a nod” now. But does anyone have a doubt as to what the “environmental trigger” Ms. McCarthy is referring to?
Yes. Botox. From Wikipedia : “Botulinum toxin is a protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum and is the most powerful neurotoxin yet discovered”
Don’t worry. She just gets “a little shot”.
Jenny has been replaced by Autism Barbie.
Autism Barbie will be accessorized with ten pairs of shoes (not for wearing, but for lining up), a fashionable, Autism Barbie Alert bracelet to prevent her from wandering away, videotapes of her talking, playing and meeting all her milestones just before a “well-baby” visit, and a lifetime supply of diapers.

There is no such thing as a genetic epidemic. I know there is an environmental trigger that they won’t agree with right now but time will tell.
She knows there is an environmental trigger, does she? It's an epidemic, not the case that Autism was always underdiagnosed in the past?
That degree from Google U. has not served her well.
The biggest hurdle is the CDC not recognizing it as an epidemic. There is no such thing as a genetic epidemic.
A.) It isn't an epidemic but then again, she's not anything resembling an epidemiologist. And B.) Yes, there can be a "genetic epidemic" but her head would explode if someone tried to explain epigenetics to Ms. Playboy Pin-up.
I know there is an environmental trigger that they won’t agree with right now but time will tell.
AKA, "I know it's teh vaxxeenes." Why should anyone with the requisite background "agree" to an environmental exposure that has been examined and isn't associated with autism? Honestly, how can anyone take her seriously while dismissing global experts? I can't fathom that level of cognitive dissonance.
I see once again the Age of Autism blog thinks they need to advertise here. Funny how it was so obvious that the comment was lifted from somewhere else. A quick google search and there it is, AoA.
Thanks for reminding me that there is so little valuable information on that blog. Heck, their satire is even strained and boring.
Sullivan, the more ridiculed and less relevant they become, the more desperate their attempts to be relevant become. It's been said many times but they aren't interested in autism aetiologies or evidence-based therapies/treatments. It will always be the vaccines for them; too much ego, money and identity are wrapped up in vaccinesdidit for acceptance of anything else.
