Each year a small group of psychologists and medical doctors meet up in the hills of Colorado to explore ideas about the intersection of Psychology and Gastroenterology. This year's focus was on Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and what better place than Telluride to hang out and exchange ideas in an informal setting about a topic that is clearly a neglected area of study.
I caught up with Daniel Rath, MD of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center/Keene (New Hampshire) to talk IBS and the Psych/Med onnection.
