Well folks, you are really going to love this one!
I am in deep deep trouble! I don't get into serious trouble often but when I do, I do it in style!
Below is yesterday's lunch - shoulder of lamb with roasted vegetables. Left for a few minutes to cool after coming out of the oven! Photo had just been taken to put the recipe up on my cooking blog!
The distraction of a phone call - the not-so-little man needing some help for a few minutes with an art project and I was found upstairs in my bed ...
with all that remained of the Sunday roast ....
Well, actually, I had run and hid in the not-so-little man's room as I heard her shouting and running up the stairs!
All that she found was ........
- to say she was unhappy is a huge understatement!
- to say that the not-so-little man found it really funny and laughed and laughed is true but that didn't seem to help matters ....
- to say to her that her slow cooked roasted lamb was really delicious and literally just fell off the bone didn't seem to help matters either!
- to say to her that at the end of the day - I am a DOG - and that there is only so much dry food and organic natural yogurt a dog wants to eat - didn't seem to have much effect either...
- to say I am really well and truly in the 'dog house' is absolutely true!!
She has gone out Christmas shopping, I am left alone with the cat, the sun is shining finally but the walk this morning was brief and purely functional!
She refused to put up a photo of me on my blog this morning. She has gone out muttering that not since the six fillets of organic salmon and platter of french cheeses episode - has she been so disappointed in me!
This could be a difficult week .........
