I have been sick lately. I mean really sick. Michael works nights so he leaves the house at 3 PM. This means that I am responsible for dinner. That is kinda hard when you feel awful. What I witnessed these past 3 days made all of it worth it.
First, I should precede the story with Leslie got sick first then gave it to Logan. Logan gave it back to Leslie and I . He sat next to me on the bed and said " Sorry, I got you sick, Mom." I smiled and told him that it was ok.
He tucked me in for a nap then did something amazing. I have literally been dreaming of this day forever. He took care of the little ones for me. OK, they ate hot dogs two days in a row and cereal another day. Ok, the dishes are piled to the ceiling. The garbage really needs to go out and the bathroom looks like a tornado ran through it. But it's ok. This is awesome!!! He saw that I was sick and what needed to be done. He thought of someone else. He looked at the situation, assessed it and took the steps needed to fix it. He will make a great captain!!!
