I have a 10 month old who as asthma. And my mom wont stop smoking in her bathroom, what should i do. What will the smoking cause

I live with my mom, and we found out my son has asthma and asked her if she would stop smoking in the bathroom, and she refuses. I dont know what to do for the safty of my son. And i would want some information so that i can show her that smoking where the smoke can get to him is harmful and not good. Someone told me it could cause death.. So please help. Im lost.
