Homeschooling with Autism: Day 5 My Favorite Links

Posted Oct 05 2011 1:07am

Here are a few great links that I enjoy to look at that may  help you along your homeschooling with autism journey.  Enjoy!

  1. Tammy Glaser is amazing!  She writes a blog about homeschooling her adult daughter with autism and aphasia.  When I grow up , I want to be like her.  Aut-2B-Home in Carolina
  2. Jamie at See Jamie Blog is such a sweet breath of fresh air.  She is so kind and encouraging.  I love to read what she is doing both homeschool and personal,
  3. Kris writes Weird Unsocialized Homeschoolers .  Any blog with a title like that gets my vote.  It helps that she writes engaging content too!
  4. Confessions of a Homeschooler has the best art plans using Know the Great Artist series.  It doesn't get any easier to do art.
  5. Harmony Art Mom has some great art and music plans too,  Hers aren't all free but they are reasonably priced and well done.  There are many free things on her site that are not to be missed. She has the best posts about homeschooling high school.
  6. Barb who does #5 also does the Handbook of Nature Study blog too.  Hands down the best nature blog out there.  She makes doing nature lessons a no brainer.
  7. Jolanthe at Homeschool Creations does some fun printables.  We don't use them all but who does?
  8. Jeanne posts the best about using the Ambleside Online curriculum in Australia. She has can't miss posts about great children's books too.  Can't miss!

Ok, I wanted to have 10 but my eyes are crossing at the moment. I'll end with 8 & do another post with the rest.  That should keep you busy for a day or two.

Want to see the other posts in this series?  Hop on over here for the list !
