Logan turned 11 today! We had a wonderful day together and he proclaimed it the best birthday ever. Must have been a success,right? We did have a dark spot on the day but we did not let that deter us in the very least. Logan was surrounded by friends and family that love him dearly and care for him greatly. That is all that matters in the grand scheme of things.
I am always amazed when I look at Logan's progress. He has come so far and worked so hard for everything. Stuff that comes easily and naturally to the rest of us is really difficult for Logan. He has to work really hard to do some of the simplest stuff. He does it without complaint and always with a smile on his face. He lives to please God and loves to read his Bible and discuss it with others.
As I look back upon the last 11 years, I am awed and speechless at the miracle that God has given me. He has made me a steward of such an unimaginable blessing that I am overwhelmed by the responsibility. God is an awesome God and Logan is a miracle in the flesh. The best part is that God is not finished with him yet. I can't wait to see what the future holds! God is good all the time!
