Nathan has discovered his limbs. He is constantly jumping, skipping, dancing, kicking and MOVING. It's like he's just discovered his body and his ability to manipulate it in the way he would like!
When we had his exit evaluation from the regional center the concern the physical therapist and the OT had was that his gross motor and muscle tone were lacking and that as he got older and the other kids were playing more aggressive games he would lack the muscles to participate. Which, as they said, would heighten social difficulites, etc.
It all made sense and Gymboree helped to jump start him, but this jumping, skipping bean I have lately is a whole new child!
