HBOT Dives 5-10

Posted Jun 10 2009 12:18am

We are continuing with our dives and Rogan has been so compliant - it is amazing. I do have to go with him each and every time...but it is down time for me too. I bring my iPod, Rogan brings his DS and some books. The hour typically goes by without incident.

We are up to 4 psi. He just started complaining about his ears a couple of dives ago. So we bring licorice or gum to chomp on and that works fine.

This picture is a copy of his NWEA Progress Report that we received at his parent-teacher conference last week. His teacher had nothing but good things to say about him and even commented, "I don't know what I'll do without him next year!" You can see his scores have increased dramatically over the past 4 months:

  • Dark Blue = Rogan

  • Light Green = Norm Group Avg (The average score observed for students in the most recent NWEA RIT Scale Norms study, who were in the same grade and tested in the same portion of the instructional year.)

  • Orange = District Avg RIT (The average score for all students in the school district in the grade who were tested at the same time.)

These scores pretty much speak for themselves.
