Just over a week ago…the pampered chef lady (who I barely know) dropped off a stone that I had ordered.
We are getting away from using aluminum, and plastic, and things that leak…so we were chatting, I asked her about fundraising…and I told her that I wanted to do some fund-raising for my son because he has Autism.
She began to tell me about her Doctor and how he comes to her house… and that she schedules appointments for him. She then said she would pay for his (my son Isaac’s) first appointment…so I was happy that God had brought someone in our path that could help Isaac.
The Doctor was very nice, he told me and showed me what to do for Isaac (acupressure) on his adrenal glands…which he said are located one inch above and one inch to the sides of the belly button…So I will do this everyday for Isaac as long as I can remember because I know that it is something that could help him.
This doctor could have charged me tons of money for this nugget of advice, and this procedure..but he didn’t- and for that I an grateful. I didn’t know this man, and I didn’t really know the pampered chef lady. I am grateful for their help!
When people see my having 4 kids, they ask if they are all mine..of course they are…and then they say I am busy… (obviously) and then some even feel sorry for me…but I would have it no other way…and I am grateful for the help of a stranger!
