Gorgonzola Cheese is DISGUSTING!

So I made a salad that used gorgonzola out of the Pillsbury Thanksgiving recipe booklet. Can I just say how GROSS this cheese is?? I am not a wine drinker because apparently it's an acquired taste that I just dont have or want after trying a few red wines. Same goes for this cheese if it's an acquired taste its one I do not want to acquire thank you very much!
