Finishing our "Explore The Bruce Adventure"

Posted May 21 2010 12:00am
We set out bright and early on May, 20, 2010 to finish our "Explore The Bruce Adventure". We had 3 spots to visit to complete out 2010 Passport and the first stop of the day;

Passport Stop #10

Schmidt Lake – Chepstow (D) 30min hike

GPS: 81°18'27"W 44°10'15"N

It’s back for a second year. Located in Ontario’s largest forested wetland, it was one of our trickiest stops to date. Remember to bring your bug spray!

The clue is located at the parking area.

We were greeted a short distance into our hike to a neat little wooden walk way. This walkway lasted for about a 3 minute walk, but it is a neat little addition to the character of this spot. This is a rather pretty trail to hike on and many little flowers and neat sights can be observed along the path "Schmidt Lake"

Aidan and Hunter sit on the floating dock, while I took a few pictures.

We enjoyed this destination, but were eager to continue on our adventure.

Off to our next destination...
