100 Bible Stories, 100 Bible Songs by Stephen Elkins

I recieved this book to review from Thomas Nelson Publishing ( brb.thomasnelson.com ) . It totally rocked! First, it is in easy enough print and words that Madison , who is an emerging reader, could read it. Plus, it comes with 2 cds that will have your child singing praises to God as well. So, she could really use it and be successful at it. Madison completely loved it.

I could envision using this book as a complement to my Bible curriculum. It would be age appropriate for grades preschool - Grade 2. It would be a great read a loud for older children (Grade 1 & 2) . Smaller children would enjoy the pictures. The stories are small enough to keep their attention. The music on the cds was well done and easily sung along. They would be great in the car!

I plan on using this to supplement our current Bible curriculum. I also plan on using it when I teach the 4 & 5 year olds at church. It ended up being a great find! Well worth the price and a great gift idea too!
