Check out this article from Time on the power of facebook status updates. Who doesn’t have an FB friend who updates their status every time they get back from a run? If I didn’t have this blog, I might do the same, although I try to be aware that my whole FB friendom doesn’t really care about how many miles I ran and how cold/hot it was. Instead I subject you all to it, to keep me honest! Anyway, I do think all this Internet social networking can have a positive effect when it comes to encouraging other people to get out there and excercise.
