Rollerblading

Posted Aug 24 2008 1:38pm

So to try to get back into the shape I was in before school, I decided to try to get back into rollerblading. Now, I haven’t rollerbladed in quite some time at least 5 years, but from what I remember I used to be a fairly good “rollerblader”. Last week, I found a really good deal on rollerblades and thought it would be a good investment. It wasn’t until today that I actually put my wheels back on again. I sure wasn’t the rollerblader I wasn’t 5 years ago. It started off okay until I met my first hill. Now I suppose I should have learned how to use my brake prior to going down the hill, but this is all in hindsight. In attempt to slow down I decided going on the grass would be a good idea that was until the grass met some sort of pond. As I sled down the grass hoping to stop I landed in the pond, but only slightly in the pond enough to get my legs wet, which are attached to my rollerblades.

So now I am stuck with stinky pond water rollerblades, I am hoping they dry out for tomorrow so I can try again and hopefully not land in the pond again.

**Please note the above picture is not me I only wish I had skills like that lady**
