Hi, I ended up being hospitalized with an upper respitory infection excerbated by Asthma. I have a script for Albuterol Nebules, so I need to buy a nrbulizer. I was wondering if you could suggest one that is good, and reliable over the long haul. I don't have health insurance, so I also need to find one that is affordable. Thank you!
P.S. I posted the question originally in the COPD & Emphysema Community, because Asthma didn't show up in the drop-down menu. Anyway, sorry for the double post.
I think the best way to learn about what nebulizer would be best for you would be to go to one of your regional home health care companies. The representative should be able to show you your options. I think some of the newer ones are portable, hand held, and work fast. Although the better the nebulizer the greater the cost. If your insurance or Medicare is paying, you may not have a choice which nebulizer you get. Yet your hhc agent should be able to help you. You may want to try out more hhc agencies to see if there are better options.
