I don't want no scrubs...a scrub is a guy that can't get no love from me

Anyone else remember that song? Oh TLC when you were popular.

Wow, I have never realized the large diversity in scrubs. Recently, I have been looking into buying some scrubs for the fall and I was shocked at all the different styles, brands, and designs. I mean who ever thought the day would come when there were “designer” scrubs. A day where you could have virtually any cartoon character printed on your scrub top. I have visited a few shops and looked online and I think I have finally settled on a brand, style, and price that I like. I’ve also determined I am going to stay away from the print cartoon tops. I also didn’t believe the man at the scrub store when he said I have some real “sexy” scrubs for you. Never ever did I think scrubs could be sexy and they are for sure not sexy when Betty Boop is present on them?

I was also amazed at the amount of stuff companies will put on scrubs. Trims are acceptable they even look pretty sometimes, but jewels I just can’t understand. I mean if I wanted jeweled scrubs I would use a bejeweled machine and not purchase 60.00 scrubs with them on it. Also, I discovered they have Grey’s Anatomy scrubs, I mean c’mon now all the scrubs on that show are custom fit. They even have a Katherine Hiegel Line as if someone would purchase them because there is a celebrity endorsement. These are clothes are going to get blood, vomit, and other bodily fluids spilt on them.

Scrubs have sure come along way from the plain old unisex line. I am actually happy about that. Form fitting clothes are always a bit more flattering. If anyone has any suggestions of scrubs brands suggestions are welcome!
