Thats what Xanax is for….anxiety. But it is very addictive and causes unfavorable side effects. For me, it makes me really depressed. My doctor switched me to a mild dose of Ativan and it works much better for me and no side effects. This is a new doctor and he told me he never prescribes Xanax to his patients unless they come to him already having

I' m 21, male, 185cm (approx. 6 feet), 115kg (approx. 250 pounds) and suffering from severe GAD. Would an optimum way for me to take Xanax be 2mg when I wake up and 2mg six hours later? For example, wake up 8am, take 2mg, take another 2mg at 2pm. I hate the idea of taking too many doses throughout the day and I don' t think Xanax XR

I’m thinking probably. Somebody I know deals with anxiety and I think lately they’ve been taking higher doses of xanax for more than just the relief from anxiety. I know this can lead to addiction, and xanax addiction is serious, but if they were to deal with that with a doctor’s help and taper down… could they still take the medication
