Do not take for granted small wounds or scratch you incurred from an accidental firecracker and fireworks explosion. Innocent looking wounds can cause tetanus infection....

My interest in these types of unique infections started in med school, treating oil rig workers from the Gulf of Mexico with some... out for but Vibrio parahaemolyticus and V. vulnificus are common. Staph and Strep are frequently seen pathogens, cultured from saltwater infected wounds.

The reports below in my last post also differ with the infection status. In the first report it states erythematous discharge, no infection mentioned. The Amended report States: A superficial distal wound infection(picture seen left). Not a biggie just a pattern. I only started actually looking at these reports after things started to go wrong. I
