If someone could only figure out how to get those pesky embryos to actually stick once they are put in place! If the embryos "look good" enough to transplant and they "should" implant, well then WHY don't they? I am posting here the link http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/123257.php to this entire article however I didn't want you t ...

Most patients naively expect that the success rate in an IVF cycle is 100%. After all, it's then just a question of the embryo sticking to the uterus, and if my uterus is normal, ...

It can be quite scary to think that the fate of your embryos is in your ...

As an IVF specialist , one of the commonest questions patients ask me is - Why did my IVF cycle fail ? This is a perfectly valid question , and I can understand why patients want an answer. After all, once we knew what the problem was , it's quite logical that we would be able to find a solution for it ! However, the sad truth is that ...

Embryo transfer is a simple mechanical process in which the doctor inserts the embryos into the uterus, using a catheter ( a plastic hollow tube).
This is usually an easy procedure which takes about 10 minutes to ...

Seriously? OMG! features a post today on Posh Spice’s breast implants presenting the opinion that they have been removed.
I’d bet Posh had silicone gel implants placed many years ago and they had developed capsular contracture or hardening. These scar capsules were likely removed and the implants replaced. Sign ...

Question: Dear Dr. Ramirez,
I am here to seek your advice once again. I just found out my second IVF (in vitro fertilization) attempt finished with a chemical pregnancy. I tested HCG levels at 11dp2dt and it was 19,2 miu/ml (pretty low), and 48h later it was already 4,7 miu/ml.
I am nearly 37yo, have high FSH levels and my antra ...

Some websites, including AwfulPlasticSurgery.com, are reporting that Britney Spears may have had her breast implants either removed or downsized. By the looks of recent photos this may very well be the case.
In my practice it is somewhat uncommon for women to considerably downsize their breast implants, but it does occur on occasion. Usua ...
