Luckily we have pretty good tasting water here in Colorado. But I remember growing up in Southern California and my mom having to buy salt pellets for our water system. If the pellets ran out, our water was disgusting. When Big Bad Dad and I made home brew, we'd buy big gallon jugs of bottled water - no point trying to make yummy beer
