Today was my day to take part in the Yoga Pose May event that the lovely Tina and Kate put together. The Yoga Pose May challenge was designed to have different bloggers feature a different yoga pose on their blog.

Svaroopa Yoga Pose - Rotated Stomach Pose

Of all the Svaroopa yoga poses Rotated Stomach Pose, or Jathara Parivrttanasana, is my favorite. This pose is a reclining spinal twist. It is a very easy pose, releases... the thorasic spine, shoulders, and neck. Rotated Stomach Pose is part of the "Magic Four", a set of four core poses in Svaroopa Yoga, which I will talk about in another post.
