Real vs fake contractions

I'm talking purely by looking at the fetal monitor strip now........
Real contractions: look like hills. Slowly and steadily rising to a peak, then slowly and steadily decreasing back to the baseline.
Fake contractions: sudden spike, looks like the top half of a square, then a sudden decrease to baseline.
Trust me - we can see the difference
