Well - not mine - my own personal cervix is a little camera shy. But I think it's fantastic that someone did this - a month in the life of a cervix. Very Our Bodies... parts! For an informative-in-a-fun-way post on said lady parts, check this out.

It’s National Cervical Cancer Awareness Month so I decided to write a song because I’m sick of bra colors and I don’t think panty colors would help much (at least not for the cause.) Midwives worry about cervical scarring, we worry about cervical lips, we worry about effacement, we worry about swelling of the cervix, we worry about... of lovely births where the cervix has been a huge topic of consternation.
