coughing the past couple of days that I didn’t do abs either. BUT…I did do triceps and MAN are my arms tired! I got the triceps workout from the Jan/Feb 2010 issue of Muscle and Fitness Hers. It includes 3 exercises, all of which I have never done before and I LOVE them.
Chest Workout
Flat Bench Press: 4 sets x 5 reps, 70#

Today I continue on with the new workout program that I got from the May/June issue of Muscle and Fitness Hers. I have substituted a few of the exercises because I don’t have cables, but I’m still working identical muscle groups.

EZ Bar Curls
4 sets x 15 reps, 25#
Hammer Curls
4 sets x 15 reps, 10# dumbbells
Triceps Workout
Skullcrushers
4 sets x 12 reps, 25# barbell
Tricep Pressdowns
4 sets x 12 reps, 30#
Standing Tricep Extensions
4 sets x 15 reps, 15# dumbbell
Cardio Workout
2 minute warm-up @ 4 mph, 10% incline
15 minute steady

Today was arm day so I did biceps and triceps. This is a brand new workout I haven’t done before and my.... Having 4 kids makes it tough to fit everything in sometimes. =)
Biceps
Incline Bench Dumbbell Curl
3 sets x 8 reps, 10#
Wide-Grip EZ Bar Curl
2 sets x 12 reps, 25

I decided to do arms: both biceps and triceps. I can tell it was a good workout because my arms feel like jell-o and while I was working out, it felt like they were on fire...
Preacher Curls (with EZ bar)
4 sets x 15 reps, 15#
EZ Bar Curls
4 sets x 15 reps, 15#
Hammer Curls

during my chest and tricep exercises. I hate that feeling!
For my cardio workout, all I did was walk. On Tuesday after my back and biceps workout I did steady state cardio... was struggling and switched to using dumbbells…)
Incline dumbbell bench press
2 sets x 12 reps, 15# dumbbells

Wide grip pressdown
3 sets x 12 reps, 30

back and biceps and I was supposed to do shoulders. Whoops! So I’m just going to skip them this week.
Today I did a chest workout, a triceps workout and I followed that up with HIIT and steady state cardio. I am POOPED!
Chest Workout
Flat Bench Press: 4 sets x 5 reps, 70#
Incline Bench Press: 4 sets x 5 reps, 55#
