the Teaser and Open Leg Rocker , try practicing with a Magic Circle between your ankles. Use your inner thighs to hug the circle, and imagine that its your abdominals holding... the exercise.
Horseback is easier to do when focusing on pressing the inner thighs into the box/chair/barrel and turning in slightly with the legs.

Figure workout listed in April 2008 Fitness RX on pg. 55. I should have looked at the workout better. It was not an all over body workout, it was a butt, legs and thighs workout... minutes in the elliptical, burned 430 calories.

I don’t use progressive weight for lunges, just a 45-pound plate on each side, and I keep it at that weight for all four sets. Usually I do lunges at the end of my leg workout, though sometimes I’ll mix them up with my other leg exercises.
