Running on Faith
Hey Eating Bender Readers!

Before you start, spend some time reading about walking and/or running... a lot of good suggestions from my 36 years of running, from comments from many runners, and from my reading of the running literature. Set a goal to walk, jog, or run pain free

I walked and jogged a bit to finish a fun run with my grand daughter. The distance was not quite three miles. My grand daughter stuck with me for about half the distance and then took off on her own and finished quite a ways ahead of me. The weather was nice, and all of the intersections were guarded by parents so it was safe for the kids to do the runRead on »

With National Half coming up on Saturday I decided to take it easy last night on the Pacers Fun Run. Last night we ran the Out and Back Alaska route... a nice little 5.5 mile run through Silver Spring on some good little rollers. I usually run with the 8:15 to 8:30 pace group... but decided to take it easy... as I said before... and runRead on »
