Other factors which do not necessary indicate strep throat are
age of patient
gender
cough
intensity of sore throat
swollen lymph nodes in the neck
tonsilar exudates
Oral antibiotics for strep throat include:

Strep throat is a bacterial infection of the throat. The infection is caused by Sreptococcus (Group A Beta Hemolytic Strep) bacteria. It is transmitted through the saliva and/or nasal secretions.
