Parker's Hemoglobin Is To Low by MessyJessy Posted Thu 28 Jun 2007 12:00am Parker has recently decided to try this whole crawling thing. He's up on his hands a knees more and more each day. (Still no movement other than rocking, besides and army crawl). Logen thinks he can ride his brother. So, every time he notices that Parker is up on hands and knees, you can bet Logen will be sitting on him, jumping! In the last h ... Read on »
Pray For Laurren & Family by StacieSmith Posted Sun 29 Nov 2009 12:00am Cancer. The word itself brings along so many negative connotations. Pain. Suffering. Nausea. Fear. Spread. Death. Sadness. However, there are many blessings that have come into my life as a result of Gavin's cancer. So, I thought I would make it the topic for my next Attitude of Gratitude post. 51. I was blessed with the opportunity to wit ... Read on »

The mysterious, ever dropping hemoglobin by Florence F. Patient Expert Posted Thu 05 Aug 2010 8:16am I'm sad to know that as of yet, I still don't have any answers as to why my hemoglobin is dropping. I just surrendered another 8 vials of blood to my clinic which is required for my up and coming (and slightly doubtful) trip. Unfortunately, even though I brought blood work in at the end of July, the clinic in Florida wants bloodwork that was do ... Read on »

Results! by meredith Patient Expert Posted Tue 18 Jan 2011 10:41pm Just a quick post because it's late and I'm tired :) Lynae's bloodwork results came back and they showed low hemoglobin AND low iron! YAY!  This is a very good thing and means she just needs supplemental iron.  Though Brianna's results aren't back yet, the similarities of the two girls' bloodwork and something to do with some of the additional ... Chemo is a 'go' for Friday by Beth Morton Health Maven Posted Thu 27 Aug 2009 11:24pm Met with the oncologist today. Once I recover from this one, chemo is done, done, done! And what I've learned: Hemoglobin is the protein molecule ... Read on »

My Packaging May Look Good but Time for a Recall? by patientanonymous Patient ExpertHealth Maven Posted Mon 25 Apr 2011 12:00am Sweetie GP’s right on the job, but she made me feel like more of a wreck than I already thought I was.  Also, kind of like an old woman. *rolls eyes* We went over my recent blood work, some of which I knew.  Ferritin, low.  Hemoglobin, low (although, I’ve never had low readings, there.) I’m being ref ... Read on »
