left arm pit stratched, then swelling during next couple days, rash breaks out both arm and legs . swelling and pain tremendious, from left armpit downwards. called ambulance, to hospital, introduction to wide range very strong anti biotics. swelling only increases and pain. after twodays they try steroids(intraveniously) swelling stops

What is "dropsy"? Dropsy--still used to describe ailments which affect marine animals such as fish or frogs (see left)--was the ancient word for edema, or total body sodium excess. My husband surfs. A lot. I figured if we were to see each other regularly I should take up surfing, so three years ago I did just that. But when it’s too big for me (which is most of the time), I take photos.
These were shot on a cold May morning when a large swell hit Australia’s East Coast. We took a dawn trip to Sandon Point near Wollongong

seems like common knowledge to us when we care for our clients may be completely different for family members.
We know, for example, that our memory impaired clients are trying... of strength, and perhaps now no longer recognizes them, experience daily life in an entirely different way.
