Not sure why, but my ankle (left, same side as the bum knee) has decided to swell up. I'm not sure if this is because the knee is injured or if the knee being crooked is making the ankle itself more unstable? It's about 30% larger than normal. This ankle pops a lot also, even when it's not swollen. So hmmmmm.

natural health remedies at home and had to bear with the limping for a few days.
My friends started to ask me if I had history of gout as my ankle was starting to swell then. I... it was gout causing the swelling. I’m going through some therapies and will monitor the progress and improvement the next few days.

Q - Is there anything that is recommended for swollen ankles that develop during flights. I know that wearing flight socks, staying hydrated and moving about all help but I wondered whether there is any herb that can be taken to prevent the problem or that can be used to remedy it quickly so that your trip isn't spoilt? If your feet still swell, check with your doctor. You may have a more serious cause, or you may need diuretics or compression stockings .
