SurfSET Fitness by Carrots 'N' Cake Patient Expert Posted Thu 17 Nov 2011 9:35am Even before I ran the New York City Marathon , I was bored with my workouts. I’m not someone who stays in an exercise funk for long, so I switched things up: I tried , looked into CrossFit, and bought a Groupon to Boston Sports Club. I’ll try just about anything to spice-up my workouts, so when Sarah from SurfSET Fitness contacted me abou ... Read on »
Watery Fun by Sue F. Posted Mon 05 Sep 2011 6:42am I'm still alive!!  Wakeboarding did not in fact kill me - hoorah! I've had a great weekend full of outdoors, fresh air, sunshine and a bit of rain.  And a lot of water.  The more time I spend outside doing fun stuff, the more I realise how much I enjoy it, even though I'm pretty rubbish at most of the things I do.  I'm certainly no natural ... Where the surf meets the turf by Sondra .. Patient ExpertHealth Maven Posted Sat 28 Aug 2010 9:36pm I love going out with my girlfriends and fellow San Diego bloggers ! We don’t do it often enough, but usually, while we’re out snapping photos, tweeting and laughing so loud people actually Shh! us (at a LIVE outdoor event, seriously), we get asked – once or twice – “Who’s birthday is it?” or “What’s the occasion?” because it appears, to the av ... 30 Second Hangover Cure by Sue F. Posted Mon 12 Dec 2011 9:47am I can't believe that another weekend has been and gone already - where does the time go??  After my colleague's sad, sad news on Friday, I sort of threw myself in to the weekend, with a determination to enjoy what I've got.  Friday night was the surf club's Christmas party, and I managed to book a taxi and actually be ready on time, which is ... A Little Bit of Gossip pt 2 by Sue F. Posted Fri 13 Jan 2012 9:37am I suppose I'd better tell you how this ends, hadn't I?  How did we get from there to here ?  And although, we've already covered point 3 from yesterday, what the hell were points 1 and 2? Still interested? Really? Ok ... Fast-forward a couple of years, and I was feeling a lot better about myself. Good enough to smile at cute guys and ... Read on »
That Friday Feeling by Sue F. Posted Fri 10 Jun 2011 7:53am This morning was official Weigh In Day of Misery for me.  But not so miserable this week.  Since my last official weigh in (which was 2 weeks ago), I'm 0.6lbs down.  That glosses over the point that last Friday I think I was about 12st 10lb, so being back at 12st 8lb, via a high at 12st 11lb this week is absolutely fine by me. Once again, it r ... Read on »
