Dizziness and vertigo are sometimes reported as symptoms of Migraine attacks. Researchers at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, have been looking at possible symptoms of Migraine and their prevalence. In a recent study, they looked at dizziness and vertigo.

Dizziness and vertigo are two symptoms in perimenopause that are not as oft discussed as hot flashes, night sweats and mood swings. Yet, loss of balance, vertigo and dizziness are common complaints among perimenopausal and menopausal women.
What makes these symptoms so elusive is that both dizziness and vertigo can be traced to other causes

Thank goodness Monday is over. The day was pretty good, but I’m still feeling off.
My equilibrium is just totally out of whack again today! I do not like sitting still yet feeling like I’m moving….just not normal. It’s almost like medicine-head but not. Weird, is all I know.

Dad has been feeling weak, and dizzy for the last couple of days. I can' t figure out what is causing it, but is comes on suddenly and goes away just as fast.
I have combed the Internet and even called the Alzheimer' s Association Helpline (http://www.alz.org/we_can_help_24_7_helpline.asp) and asked if this sudden dizziness is a symptom of his Alzheimer

Everyone has experienced some form of dizziness or vertigo. Perhaps an ear infection left you wobbly on your feet. Or, you’ve suddenly jumped up from a sitting position very quickly and felt the need to sit right back down.
Fortunately, the feeling doesn’t tend to last long for the majority.

I had no idea that this feeling was at all common among panic sufferers, but as this details, anxiety can cause... now, when I'm not experiencing any kind of chronic dizziness, the old vertigo-like feeling can kick in when I'm somewhere loud or busy like a shopping mall or a crowded party
