I picked up a cheap golden stethoscope on eBay. Sound quality is not as good as my Littmann Classic 2 but it looks pretty cool.

Sun 29 Aug 2010 12:00amstethoscope, but when she puts it in her ears she says "I can't hear the heart beat." So now when we put them on we say "bump, bump, bump" (heart sound). But...wouldn't it be wonderful if she could hear the sounds?
I doubt families with normally hearing kids have real stethoscopes, but sometimes the challenge of "you can't" makes you work harder

(3) Stethoscope. Why you might ask? Most of you know that I am a certified respiratory therapist (by testing, not degree… yet) and well any CRT aught to have a great stethoscope to listen to lungs and hearts with. So I waited for a few weeks expecting nothing from AARC, the place that administers the test and PING there goes my E-Mail big time
