A Test-y Sunday Dinner and Great Cake!

I wasn’t feeling quite 100 percent Sunday, so I relied on Urban Vegan’s test recipes for our dinner. (Thanks for all of your get-well wishes!) And of course there is still this:

He watches the news at 5pm so I called my sister. After our conversation, I walked to the living room and asked how he was.
“Not very good, I’ve been left sitting here alone all afternoon.”
The evening has kind of slid downhill from that moment. If I can talk him into going walking, should be able to salvage some of it.

Of the tasty treats we are testing, chocolate cake was the hands down winner for going first! My kids were understandably excited. So was I! The sugar and calorie content of Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Chocolate Cake Mix is lower than the Devil’s Food cake mix from Duncan Hines and it is gluten and dairy free! Nice. I also discovered ...
