I had rehearsal yesterday to finish learning a "Well, it's modern. Kind of. But it's a little bit ballet-ish, too. It's fusion" dance. To me it feels/looks more like Balanchine neoclassical mixed with tribal African dances. It's actually pretty cool, there's just a lot of rolling on the floor, hence the floor burn and bruises.

What to do when you experience a soft tissue injury (muscle/ligament/tendon sprains/strains, etc.)? Follow the R.I.C.E.R. principle (REST, ICE, COMPRESSION, ELEVATION, REFERRAL FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANCE) as soon as possible following the injury. Don't do flexibility exercises to stretch a soft tissue injury.
