Aggressive skates. These are durable recreational skates with small wheels and grind plates to protect the skate when doing aggressive stunts
Artistic skates. These have boots like those on figure skates, and as few as 3 small wheels for maximum maneuverability, smoother turns, and spinning

Let your skating do the talking. At the skate park, don't brag about how great you are!
Try a skate park. Find a skate park that has other... for the fast ones. Some skaters may practice one line over and over, getting faster each time

. It was windy and cold this morning but with all of the winter gear I had on it didn’t matter. Once I was moving I actually got hot. Maybe next time one less layer. I had some CWX tights... minute miles if possible.
I was using a lot of new gear for the race.
I know it is not the best thing to do
at a race, but due to the weather it was a necessity

lot, it was surreal being in such a different environment. Everywhere were people dressed up in crazy ski gear with bright colors, flashy patterns and weird, spiky hats... unfortunately.
Most of the people there were for…duh…sking! There were people there from all over – even different countries!
But not us!
