Being that the dreaded period is still MIA, I figured that a post on pregnancy Symptoms would be mildly appropriate. I'll be visiting the local dollar store later to see... boobs hurt. They don't. But every twinge I wonder and my hopes get raised. I guess I'll figure it out eventually.

I don't know what are.
I'm so torn between wanting to honor the calendar (and the body) and dealing with all of the signs that we're seeing.
Painful (not just sore anymore) boobs - never had before
Irritability (I love you honey!) - never had before
Acne
Exhaustion
Cramping
Metallic taste in the mouth - never had before. This one came up

Some of you may have noticed that omega-3 fats have been touted in pregnancy too, specifically because they are believed to help normal brain and visual function..., the results of this study are promising I think, and suggest that omega-3-based therapy may be useful for combating depression during and after pregnancy.

is right for you, pregnancy is an amazing thing. It is absolutely worth all the inconveniences and uncomfortable moments to experience the joy of motherhood.

Jet lag mimics pregnancy symptoms

wiped me out, but it wasn't until this trip that I discovered that the symptoms of jet lag are eerily similar to the early stages of pregnancy (not that I've ever been pregnant... literally don't remember falling asleep. I just pass out. Thank goodness this has only happened while I'm already in bed.

good. I've had a couple of symptoms to contend with (which I'll describe in detail below), but at this point, most of them have subsided. I'm pretty sure they were pregnancy... the aftermath of pregnancy - as is my doctor. Nonetheless, we'll be keeping a close eye on it in the coming weeks. Keep your fingers crossed!
