I was asked recently what I'd recommend for resources for people with digestive problems.
The most remarkable story I've read was Virginia Harper’s recovery from Crohn.... I believe the healing of my digestive tract was a direct result of eating this diet based on whole grains, beans and vegetables. I’ll be writing some more about this soon.

The latest issue of Pediatrics has a study that asks whether autism is associated with digestive problems. The authors compared the medical records of about 100 autistics... in each group to have had at least one digestive problem by age 20 weren’t reliably different. For the autistic kids, the proportion was 77%; for the controls, 72%.

So many people are out there right now with drinking problems it’s unbelievable. As a recovering alcoholic who chose to totally abstain from drinking I see them all... a problem.
