! I wont show you the actual cannula because basically even looking at one myself just makes me shiver because its connected to some horrible times I''ve had with cannulas

Brrrrrrr. I will NEVER get used to –14C. (um, –22C with the freaking wind chill). I’m cold. My poor West Coaster self just doesn’t have the inherent ability to accept these East Coast temperatures.
On the bright side, the skies were crystal blue and clear today and we saw a really pretty pink sky on the drive to FH’s work this mornin ...

So, here I am...taking care of both of my boys. Missing the O.A.R. concert we were supposed to go to (and our friend's little boy's baptism). The croup is crap.

sounded croupy. She told me that in the past the pediatrician gave the child steriods when she sounded croupy. Also, the little girl was hospitalized on one occasion with the croup... her sick cousin.
I told the mother and grandparents that I found no reason for aggressive treatment, but did want the child to have a croup tent with a mist vaporizer
