I am sad, just plain old sad. On Saturday afternoon I lost someone near and dear to me. For those of you who don't know me IRL probably don't know that I have been... of man he was. He knew how hard we worked to get where we are and he was so happy for us. I am sad that he will not be able to meet the babies.

Well not really, but kind of. Here's why:
1. When I woke up this morning I had to try on about 4 different shirts before I found one that still fits! Yikes, I'm down to only 1 nice shirt that still covers my baby belly!

On Saturday just gone as I headed out for my bike ride, a pack of 4 cyclists got hit by a truck on the M4 motorway. One of the gentleman got killed instantly and the other 3 got injured terribly. Such a sad time for their families. I was not aware of what had unfolded as I turned onto the motorway and saw police lights flashing in my rear view

It was a sad, sad morning for a friend of mine today. Today is the day which made me feel lucky.

So two storms rolled in the Bay Area the last two days. The first one Monday brought wind, heavy rain and even hail. A hill even gave way in North Beach, 7 buildings were condemned and evacuated.The newscast said the next one was going to hit Tuesday during the evening commute, right during Track.
