Went to our running clinic's 2nd week of trackworkout tonight. Did 1 mi warm-up, followed by 8x400 (at threshold pace), with each 400 of speed work followed by a recovery...% sure what my overall pace was.) I honestly didn't feel very tired after tonight's trackworkout, so either my fitness is improving or I'm not working hard enough!

from long time triathlon experts HERE.
"Coach I want to get one of your programs but I can not do the running.
Can I ride more to make up for the lack of running?" That is one of the
typical questions I get from athletes with running injuries.
My answer

Quite a few folks have indicated in their comments that they are motivated to get out and walk or jog. Before you start, spend some time reading about walking and/or running... a lot of good suggestions from my 36 years of running, from comments from many runners, and from my reading of the running literature. I walked and jogged a bit to finish a fun run with my grand daughter. The distance was not quite three miles. My grand daughter stuck with me for about half the distance and then took off on her own and finished quite a ways ahead of me. The weather was nice, and all of the intersections were guarded by parents so it was safe for the kids to do the runRead on »

I usually run with the 8:15 to 8:30 pace group... but decided to take it easy... as I said before... and runRead on »

So after 5 minutes I thought, shoot, I will jog, maybe a mile. 2 miles later, I stopped. I felt goooood! So I returned to the gym the rest of the week

, this was my first run taking the jogging stroller out for a spin. I've done tons of walking with it, but yesterday was the first time I got that puppy up to cruising speed.
Talking... food afterwards from 2-3. Feeling somewhat guilty about the chimichanga and somewhat inspired by the nice weather, I went out for a run from 4:30-5. Then sadly, I had a lapse

you plan to jog to the store and stock up on groceries. But you will want a place to put your water bottle as you run, along with your keys and other essentials.
Make sure...
I remember when my youngest was a baby, before preschool, and I would load her up in the jogger, take her to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and jog its entirety-three full miles
