AOL does a feature on Gastric Bypass. It is not a diet alternative. It is major surgery for obese patients with medical problems. And for the record, the lap band is a poor substitute for a formal bypass at least in my opinion.
Gastric bypass is also not plastic surgery. It does often create great patients for plastic surgery however

This question comes up around once a week:
My CT heart scan score is ____. Wouldn't I be better off just getting a bypass (or stent, etc.) and getting it over... showed a dramatic rise to 264.
